With investment in the Melbourne Airport Rail Link (MARL), the Western Rail Plan and the Suburban Rail Loop, creating a Sunshine Super Hub will be a major catalyst for improved transport connectivity and economic growth within and beyond Melbourne’s West. The MARL will travel to Melbourne Airport from the CBD via a new Sunshine Super Hub, connecting regional and metro train lines, including the Metro Tunnel, to the new airport link.
Opportunities exist to leverage off the Sunshine Super Hub for economic diversity and strength, creating an economic and employment epicentre for Melbourne’s West.
LeadWest will work with Brimbank City Council to maximise regional benefits from the Sunshine Super Hub.
