The OMR is a transformational project in the North and West Melbourne City Deal. It will be a 100 km long high speed transport link for people and freight. It will create better connections to key international transport hubs such as Melbourne Airport, Avalon Airport, the Port of Geelong and the proposed Western Intermodal Freight Precinct and the Beveridge Intermodal Freight Terminal.
A business case has been co-funded by the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments.
LeadWest will continue to advocate for this important piece of infrastructure through the North and West Melbourne City Deal.
