Western Agenda

The Western Agenda provides a roadmap to focus and unite the work of LeadWest and the many regional stakeholders in creating a prosperous, sustainable, healthy and fair region and improving the lives of people forming the communities of Melbourne's west. 

For ease of reference, the Agenda is based around seven themes, but these need to be tackled together, in an integrated “joined up” approach because so many issues and actions impact across each other.  The seven themes are:

1. Education and Skills
2. Economic Development and Jobs
3. Transport and Infrastructure
4. Health and Community Development
5. Environment, Planning and Image
6. Tourism, Arts, Culture and Recreation
7. Regional Leadership
