Official Launch
LeadWest held its official Launch on May 21st 2008.
Attended by approx. 120 representatives and key stakeholders drawn from across the western region, including member Councils, Government departments, educational institutions and private organisation. The Launch was officiated by the Hon Justin Madden, the Victorian Planning Minister and The Hon Bill Shorten, the Federal Parliamentary Secretary of Disabilities & Children Services and Member for Maribyrnong introduced LeadWest's Western Agenda.
The LeadWest Western Agenda – A Strategic Plan for Melbourne’s Western Region 208-2011 provides a roadmap to focus and unite the work of LeadWest and the many regional stakeholders in shaping Melbourne’s western region’s future sustainable development.
