AMES Australia has a proud history of supporting newly arrived refugees, migrants and asylum seekers across Melbourne and Sydney for nearly 60 years.

AMES Australia see successful migrant, refugee and asylum seeker settlement as an investment in the future of Australia’s economy and as the cornerstone of a cohesive and inclusive society.

AMES Australia support successful settlement as a major provider of a range of integrated settlement, education, training and employment programs to new arrivals. AMES Australia supports approximately 45,000 clients annually through a workforce of over 1200 and with a volunteer base exceeding 2,500.

AMES Australia’s placed based service delivery strategy ensures we are able to build connections for and with clients and their communities; where they live and work and socialise.

In Melbourne’s west, AMES Australia delivers from Footscray, Sunshine, St Albans and Werribee centres with a number of outreach programs in fast growing areas including Point Cook, Tarneit and Hoppers Crossing.
